FOOD BOXES
KCAH very much appreciate the generous gifts of food, cleaning materials and toiletries that are given to us at Harvest Festival. They come from Churches, schools and private individuals and are carefully stored so that we can help people during the winter months. Our homeless clients and our Access Project tenants have little spare money to buy these essentials, and cleaning materials usually get left out altogether. Of course our clients need to eat all year and some people have very helpfully given us further donations at Christmas and, occasionally, Easter time. Sadly, at this time of year, our supplies of food run very low and they have usually run out by July.
We particularly need tinned ready meals (pasta and rice are popular) - also soups, cereals, beans, tea, sugar, coffee and UHT milk. Chocolate biscuits and sweets are welcome as a treat.
Could you place a box for food donations in your church, office or place of work and bring in to us ? Perhaps if you receive two items for the price of one, you could donate the free one to KCAH. We would be very grateful for any help you can give.
