One Hundred Pennies make up £1

There is an old expression which says that if you look after the pennies, the pounds will look after themselves. This is a good ideal to live by and it is one which we encourage our homeless clients to adopt too.

The fact is that we need regular donations to continue the valuable work we do at KCAH – and so we can use your pennies and your pounds. Why not save up pennies in a bottle if you can’t manage pounds ?

A special “thank you” to private individuals and to Churches who already provide regular donations. Your help is vitally important as they enable us to meet the needs of the “non priority” homeless (mainly single people aged 18 to 59) and all those who are excluded from state help.

We are pleased that the local authority and other agencies meet the needs of the “priority” homeless but KCAH is the only agency in Kingston and the surrounding areas expressly meeting the needs of those who have no help at all.
